The University of California Student Association (UCSA) is the official voice of undergraduate students across the UC system, recognized by the California State Legislature and the UC Board of Regents. For more than 50 years, it has been UCSA’s mission to achieve education equity through collective power by advocating for the affordability, accessibility and quality of a higher education for the current and future UC students across the state.
UC Hill Day is one of UCSA’s four annual conferences that mobilizes UC students to the nation's capital in Washington D.C. to develop advocacy skills, gain insight into pressing issues affecting students and higher education, and engage directly with elected officials to lobby for policies that shape our education, campuses, and future.
In partnership with the UC Student Association and all 9 member campuses, delegations upwards of nearly 300 students from across the UC system come together to mobilize and advocate to Congress on student-centered issues.
